How to apply
Target Groups and Application Eligibility:
The applicant or his/her authorized representative may submit an application if necessary.
Application Approach:
- In person at the counter: application should be made by the applicant in person, or by an authorized person;
- Mobile Application: “Macau Tax”,“Macao One Account” and “Business & Associations Platform”;
- Self-service Kiosk: individuals who hold a valid Macao SAR resident identity card or foreign worker identity card can apply for a personal debt certificate at the self-service kiosk. (Locations of self-service kiosks)
The applicant may choose to receive the certificates in paper or electronic form:
“Certificate of Debts” (Individual)
“Certificate of Debts” (Association)
Required Document:
- Application form / Application form (Certificate of Debts);
- A copy of the applicant’s identity document.
Document must be presented:
- The applicant, whether an individual or the legal representative of a company or association, must present the original identification document and relevant supporting documents. For company or association representatives, these supporting documents must be valid for three months. If business registration has been completed and this Bureau can verify the information through the Legal Affairs Bureau’s online inquiry system, submission of a business registration certificate is not required;
- The agent handling the application shall present the original of applicant’s identity document or a power of attorney;
- The applicant who holds identity document without signature shall apply in person.

Third floor, 225 Rua de Coimbra, Taipa.
Office Hours:
Monday to Friday: 09:00-18:00
Closed on weekends and public holidays
Time required for processing
General certificate: 5 working days
Other certificate: 10 working days
Note:
- From the next working day after receiving the application with all well-prepared documents;
- If the application involves inquiries to the Coercive Collection Bureau or search for information in the warehouse, it will be regarded as “other certificate”;
- Please refer to the FSB’s Performance Pledge.
