Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ron Howard, this documentary draws on rare archive footage, previously unseen material and interviews with family and friends to trace the extraordinary life of Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti, from Modena to the world’s greatest stages.
The film revisits his triumphs at leading opera houses while also revealing the man behind the celebrated performer. Viewers will relive his stirring performance of Nessun dorma from Puccini’s Turandot and the extraordinary moment he sang nine high Cs in Donizetti’s La fille du régiment, rediscovering the voice and charisma that made the ‘King of the High Cs’ a global sensation.
