Exhibition of Historical Objects of Escola Stella Matutina opens to promote education with love
The opening ceremony of “Return to the Education with Love – Exhibition of Historical Objects of Escola Stella Matutina”, organized by the Macao Museum, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), was held on 2 July, at 6:30pm, in the main hall of the Macao Museum. The ceremony was officiated by the President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Mok Ian Ian; the Deputy Director of the Department of Publicity and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, Yin Rutao; the former principal of Escola Stella Matutina, Sister Brigitte Fan Kuai Fong; the alumni representative of the school, Wong I Lin; and the Director of the Macao Museum, Lou Ho Ian, and was attended by alumni.

Submission of Works for the“Collective Exhibition of Macao Artists”to be accepted from 16 July
The “Collective Exhibition of Macao Artists”, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), accepts applications from 16 to 18 July (Friday to Sunday) from 10am to 7pm (open during lunch hour). Interested parties are welcome to submit completed and signed application forms, copies of identification documents and their works at the Old Court Building (Avenida da Praia Grande) during the abovementioned period.

IPIM Holds Four Training Sessions to Help Enterprises Achieve Better Results in MICE Events
Four sessions of the “Exhibitor Training Course for Macao Enterprises”, organised by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), were successfully held recently and attracted over 270 participants from various industries, including trade, advertising design and production, speciality and souvenirs, retail and MICE. Some participants said that the course has helped them learn about and adapt to new trends within the MICE industry to explore a broader market.

Report on the state of publication of books in Macao (2020)
According to the Legal Deposit Regime regarding Macao publications, the Department of Public Library Management under the Cultural Affairs Bureau is responsible for the collection, preservation and management of local publications and the provision of materials for research purposes. In accordance with the statistics on registration of the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) requests provided by the Macao ISBN Agency, 759 books were slated for publication in 2020, a slight decrease of 30 books in comparison with 2019, which indicates that in general, local publications have not been significantly impacted by the pandemic. In 2020, 766 publications were submitted to the Macao Central Library for collection under the Legal Deposit Regime, including 696 printed books, 68 e-books and 2 types of books in other media.
