Lai Chi Vun Shipyard will reopen to the public Applications are open for new phase of the special weekend market

The Cultural Affairs Bureau has completed the inspection, cleaning works and site decoration of the Lai Chi Vun. The Shipyard will reopen to the public tomorrow (5 September). In order to enrich the cultural tourism and leisure experience of the public and tourists, the Cultural Affairs Burau (IC) continues to hold a featured market in the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards – Plots X11-X15. Applications for stalls in new phase are open from today to 10 September. All interested parties are welcome to register and registration is free of charge.

The “Performance to Celebrate the 74th Anniversary of the National Day of the People's Republic of China” – Large-scale original acrobatic drama “The Bridge”, jointly organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and the Department of Publicity and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, and presented by China Nanjing Acrobatic Troupe Co., Ltd, will be held on 30 September and 1 October, at 8pm, at the Venetian Theatre, allowing the public to enjoy a magnificent acrobatic show while celebrating the National Day. Tickets are now on sale.

Most of the cultural facilities under the Cultural Affairs Bureau will reopen to the public tomorrow

After the passage of the typhoon “Saola”, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) carried out inspection and cleaning works of the cultural facilities, including heritage sites, public libraries, exhibition and performance venues. Most of the facilities meet the conditions and will reopen to the public tomorrow (3 September).
