4th Fujian-Macao Cooperation Conference is held in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province

(Macao – 26 October 2023) The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, the Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Mr Zhou Zuyi, and the Governor of Fujian Province, Mr Zhao Long – as well as their respective delegations – attended the 4th Fujian-Macao Cooperation Conference on Wednesday (25 October) in Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. Also present at the conference was the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), Mr Zheng Xincong.


The 2023 GEG Lusofonia Festival will begin this friday, October 27th, promoting the lusophone culture for three consecutive days

Organized by The Cultural Affairs Bureau, Co-Organized by The Macau Government Tourism Office and the Municipals Affairs Bureau, and primarily supported by Galaxy Entertainment Group, the 2023 GEG Lusofonia Festival takes place from 27 to 29 October at the Taipa Houses. This year edition of the Festival emphasis will be placed on promoting Portuguese culture through Portuguese gastronomy and handicraft shows.


China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries Film Festival themed “Dresses Galore in Films” presents a series of wonderful movies and showcases the charm of the cinematic world of China and the Portuguese speaking countries

Under the patronage of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), and co-organised by the Galaxy Entertainment Group and SJM RESORTS, LIMITED, the “China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries Film Festival”, integrated in the 5th “Encounter in Macao – Arts and Cultural Festival between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries”, will be held from 10 to 24 November. Themed “Dresses Galore in Films”, this year’s Film Festival will feature over 20 film productions in Chinese and Portuguese, as well as outreach activities such as outdoor screenings, post-screening seminars and workshops, allowing the public to appreciate the aesthetics of cinema.


Macao Institute for Tourism Studies and University of Surrey offer Dual Master's Programme

Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM) from Macao SAR, China and University of Surrey (UOS) from the United Kingdom are pleased to announce a new progression agreement that facilitates the seamless transition of qualified students from IFTM to UOS, allowing them to transfer credits and complete an UOS master’s degree, while simultaneously completing anIFTM master's degree, in as short as two years.


hush! Beach Concerts expands the diversity of the pop music feast

Jointly organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) and MGM, and co-organised by the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Marine and Water Bureau, the “hush! Beach Concerts x Urban Yo~ga Wellfest 2023” will be held from 27 October to 5 November in the Macao Peninsula, Hac Sá Beach and Coloane. In addition to the creative yoga activities, this year’s “hush! Beach Concerts” features a variety of captivating music performances and activities, further expanding the diversity of this pop music feast. Admission to the “hush! Beach Concerts” is free.

the 5th “Encounter in Macao – Arts and Cultural Festival between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries” has the patronage of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government, and is organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, with the support of the Macao Government Tourism Office, the Municipal Affairs Bureau, TDM - Teledifusão de Macau, S.A., the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, and Air Macau Company Limited.
