CCAC unveiled a case where customs officers of a checkpoint allegedly fabricated attendance records together for remuneration fraud

The CCAC has detected a case where the chief of the customs station at a checkpoint allegedly colluded with his subordinates to fabricate attendance records in order to defraud the Government over supplementary remuneration amounting to over MOP130,000.


Collection of opinions on Macau New Neighbourhood residential units begins

Hence, AMCM would like to remind Macao residents who are interested in subscribing for the said coins and collector box to complete the online subscription process (https://registration.amcm.gov.mo/COCSCollection/terms_pt.html) before the mentioned deadline. A service counter has also been set up at the lobby of AMCM during the mentioned period to provide registration service for those who require assistance. UM’s interdisciplinary camp attracts outstanding university students from home and abroad

The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and the Institute of Collaborative Innovation (ICI) of the University of Macau (UM) jointly organised the Summer Camp for Outstanding College Students for the first time. The summer camp attracted applications from over 600 outstanding students representing more than 80 higher education institutions from home and abroad. According to the participating students, the camp provided a platform for interdisciplinary academic exchange and practice, which had a positive impact on and provided inspiration for learning and personal growth.

MUR supports government in continuing to improve residents' living environment

The SAR Government has recently announced to build a citizens’ sports park composed of a multi-faceted sports complex at the former Yat Yuen Canidrome and Lin Fong Sports Centre, as well as to realise phase-by-phase the plan of building a youth adventure camp in Hac Sa. Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) Chairperson of the Board of Directors Peter Lam Kam Seng supports and agrees with such plans, believing that such facilities have a positive significance in promoting mass sports, improving youth training and activity venues, as well as continuing to enhance residents’ living environment.


70th Macau Grand Prix slated for this November

The iconic annual event of Macao in the international sports scene, the 70th Macau Grand Prix, is scheduled for 11-12 November and 16-19 November. The Macau Grand Prix Organizing Committee (MGPOC) held a press conference at the Convention Hall of Macao Science Center today (19 July) to announce the race schedule, sponsors and crossover projects.


UM offers various summer programmes

The University of Macau (UM) has offered a series of summer programmes and training courses this year. They cover a wide range of fields, such as integrated circuits, smart cities, biomedical science and health sciences, artificial intelligence and big data, cyberspace security, economics and management, and languages. The target participants are undergraduates who wish to pursue master’s or doctoral programmes, outstanding university students, language learners, as well as students and faculty members of higher education institutions. The summer programmes and training courses aim to deepen participants’ understanding of the disciplines concerned, broaden their horizons, and enhance their competitiveness.
