CE visiting Hangzhou for opening of 19th Asian Games

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, is leading a Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) delegation to Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, from today until 25 September, after an invitation to attend on 23 September the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games and related activities.

10th Global Tourism Economy Forum • Macao 2023 grandly commences Navigating opportunities for tourism recovery and enhancing innovation and cooperation

The opening ceremony of the 10th Global Tourism Economy Forum · Macao 2023 (GTEF or the “Forum”) took place at the Galaxy International Convention Center this morning (21 September). Over 1,500 leading figures from the global tourism industry and related sectors are invited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of GTEF together.


UM holds parallel session at ISTIF of Boao Forum for Asia held in Zhuhai

The Third Conference of the International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum (ISTIF) of Boao Forum for Asia took place in Zhuhai. The University of Macau (UM) today (21 September) held a parallel session on ‘Marine Science and Technology: towards “Blue” Sustainable Development’, during which several scholars had in-depth discussions on marine economy, marine ecology and pollution, and marine equipment and engineering. Yonghua Song, rector of UM and Wang Chunming, director of the Research Services and Knowledge Transfer Office, attended the opening ceremony and plenary session of the conference.


Global Tourism Economy Forum builds a platform for international exchange and cooperation and unites tourism stakeholders for innovative collaboration

The 10th Global Tourism Economy Forum • Macao 2023 (GTEF or the “Forum”) was inaugurated this morning (21 September). The organizer of the Forum, the Secretariat for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, hosted the GTEF 10th Anniversary Lunch at Wynn Palace to celebrate a decade of great harvest.


IAM to repair road surface and enclose sections of Estrada do Engenheiro Trigo

The public often go jogging or take walks in Estrada do Engenheiro Trigo. The staff of the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) have inspected the mentioned road and found that various degrees of damage and cracks have appeared on the road surface, affecting the safety of pedestrians, especially joggers. IAM will carry out repairs to the road surface in the mentioned road from today (21 September), and the works will take about 4 working days. During this period, the relevant work areas will be enclosed while other road sections will remain open to the public. The public are advised to be aware of the arrangement and pay attention to safety. IAM appeals to the public for their understanding for any inconvenience caused.
