Macau New Neighbourhood Hosts Spring Party for Macao Residents to Celebrate Springtime Together

In conjunction with the Easter holiday, the 2025 Spring Party will be held on Saturday 19 April from 2pm to 6pm at Lotus Square in the Macau New Neighbourhood, Hengqin. This event will feature an assortment of interactive activities, including workshops, game booths, and exciting performances, to create a joyful and warm spring get-together for Macao residents. ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group kicked off

The ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group, sanctioned by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), organized by the Sports Bureau, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and World Table Tennis Management Group Limited (WTMG), and co-organized by the Macau Table Tennis General Association, started today (14 April) at the Galaxy Arena.


‘Innovate to elevate; forge ahead to break new ground’: CE in 2025 Policy Address

The Chief Executive, Mr Sam Hou Fai, delivered at the Legislative Assembly today, at 3pm, the Policy Address for the Fiscal Year 2025, titled “Innovate to elevate; forge ahead to break new ground”. The Government's overall policy direction in the coming year will focus on increasing economic diversification, improving people's livelihoods, enhancing governance, and integrating into the overall development of the country.



UM, Fudan jointly offer programme to cultivate talent in culture and tourism in GBA

The University of Macau (UM) and Fudan University will launch the ‘UM-Fudan 2+2 (International Integrated Resort Management—Tourism Management) Programme’ in the 2025/2026 academic year. Students in the programme who meet the graduation requirements will receive bachelor’s degrees from both UM and Fudan, with qualifications widely recognised by authorities in Macao and Shanghai, as well as internationally. The programme aims to integrate the resources of both universities to produce top talent with a global perspective and practical skills for the tourism and leisure industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), thereby supporting the development of the cultural and tourism industry in the GBA.
