Each resident will be distributed with 5 rapid antigen test kits in Round 13 of Citywide NAT Programme

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that, to coordinate with the anti-epidemic measures in the “consolidation period” in the coming week, in the 13th round of the Citywide NAT Programme (from 08:00 on 22 July 19:00 on 23 July), in addition to the 10 pieces of KN95 masks, each resident will receive 5 rapid antigen test kits. Re-collection of such supplies would not be available. Please refer to the pictures attached (infographics) for details of the 13th round of the Citywide NAT Programme.

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that, since the COVID-19 outbreak on 18 June, the four major enquiry platforms have handled a cumulative total of 101,803 cases of enquiries and assistance requests as of 20 July. The authorities will continue to accelerate speed and efficiency of giving replies, and optimize workflow to meet the needs of the public according to the epidemic development.

Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces NAT arrangements in key areas during 22 and 24 July
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, after analyzing the cases recently detected in the community, possible transmission in the vicinity of affected buildings cannot be ruled out. For this, an extra nucleic acid testing drive will be further carried out in the key areas to identify any potential infected persons who may still be lurking in the local community. From 08:00 on 22 July (Friday) to 22:00 on 24 July (Sunday), people in the following key areas are subject to a nucleic acid test daily. For people who have, on the same day, participated in the Citywide NAT, or NAT for key population groups/people leaving home for work, they do not need to take another test separately.

Operation of barbershops required to comply with epidemic prevention requirements IAM steps up inspections of licensed establishments
During the “consolidation period”starting from 23 July, barbershops can operate on a limited basis. Dine-in service will not be allowed in food and beverage establishments and they can only offer takeaway service. Cinemas, beauty parlours, amusement game centres, cyber cafes and other establishments will remain closed. The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will continue to step up inspections of establishments licensed and supervised by IAM in various districts and will require them to strictly implement the stipulations of the Chief Executive Writ of Instruction and the epidemic prevention guidelines on operation of establishments issued by the health authorities.

IAM opens 16 dog parks during consolidation period
During the “consolidation period” starting from 23 July, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will open 16 dog parks in Macao. When the owners bring their dogs to these venues, they are required to observe the rules for use of the venues. IAM will adopt measures for restrictions on people flow when necessary, and urges the owners to pay attention to environmental hygiene and keep the streets clean.

Walking trails and cycle tracks to open during consolidation period on a limited basis for public to relieve stress
During the “consolidation period” starting from 23 July, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will open the walking trial in the Reservatório Park, the Guia Hill Fitness Trail, and two cycle tracks in Taipa and Coloane, for the public to have suitable places to take leisure walks, relieving the stress of staying at home for a long time. IAM calls on the public to use the venues during off-peak hours, and will adopt crowd control measures to avoid crowd gatherings when necessary.

IAM continues to adopt crowd control measures at markets and calls on public to do their shopping during off-peak hours
The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has continuously evaluated the actual situation at the markets and adopted crowd control measures. IAM adopted distribution of number tags during the peak of people flow this morning (21 July) at Patane Market. The public complied with the arrangement and the overall operation was smooth and in good order. IAM calls on consumers to go to markets and hawker areas during off-peak hours as much as possible, especially when they go to locations with high people flow such as Patane and Hawker Area at Rua da Emenda.
