Citywide NAT – Round 13 (15H00): 200,628 samples collected; 50,075 proved negative

With regard to the 13th round of citywide NAT programme, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces the following:




Consumer price index (CPI) for June 2022

Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the Composite CPI for June 2022 (103.86) increased by 1.32% year-on-year. The increment was attributed to higher wages of domestic helpers, dearer charges for eating out, as well as rising prices of gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas; yet, the rise was partially offset by lower rentals for dwellings, reduced charges for telecommunication services and falling prices of pork. Among the various sections of goods and services, price indices of Household Furnishings & Services and Transport grew by 13.71% and 7.52% year-on-year respectively, whereas the index of Communication decreased by 10.24%. The CPI-A (103.57) and CPI-B (104.24) saw respective growth of 0.97% and 1.80% year-on-year.


IAM to resume shuttle bus service for provisional market tomorrow with passenger capacity limited to 60%

During the “consolidation period”starting from 23 July, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will resume the shuttle bus service for the Almirante Lacerda Municipal Provisional Market (Red Market)to provide convenience for members of the public in Horta e Costa district to shop in the provisional market. To comply with anti-epidemic measures, standing will not be allowed on the shuttle bus and the passenger capacity will be limited to 60%. Cleaning and disinfection of the bus compartments will also be strengthened.


The CCAC to maintain limited services between 25th and 29th July

In view of the current prevention measures against the novel coronavirus pandemic, the CCAC will maintain limited external services to the public between 25th and 29th July. During the aforesaid period, the Complaint Management Centre and the two Branch Offices will not accept complaints or reports filed by residents in person. Should residents wish to file reports or administrative complaints, they may use the online complaint service of the CCAC or call the Report Hotline at 2836 1212.


CCM cancels summer workshops and performances

Aligned with the government’s prevention and control measures, the Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is cancelling all Summer Workshops and performances scheduled through August, namely the baby theatre Sweet Dream in the Woods and the cultural jamboree ARTmusing Fun.


IAM adopts crowd control measure of distribution of number tags at Patane Market and again calls on public to do their shopping during off-peak hours

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) adopted crowd control measures of distribution of number tags and queuing at Patane Market this morning (22 July) and the overall operation was smooth. IAM again calls on the public to go to markets and hawker areas during off-peak hours and comply with the guidance of the on-site staff when they wait in queues, so as to jointly fulfil pandemic prevention efforts.


DSI provides public services to a limited extent from 25th to 29th July

Due to the development of the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) located at China Plaza in Avenida de Praia Grande and DSI’s service area in the Macao Government Services Centre in Islands (Zone D on 3rd Floor) will provide limited public services during the period 25th to 29th July 2022, while DSI’s service area in the Macao Government Services Centre in Areia Preta (Zone R on 2nd Floor) will be suspended.


MGTO to provide limited services between 23-29 July

Following the Guideline on Work Arrangements for Public Entities between 23 – 29 July issued by Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau (SAFP) and in its full implementation of the SAR Government’s measures against COVID-19, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) will provide limited services during the consolidation period between 23-29 July 2022, with the arrangements as follows:
