In order to promote public appreciation and participation in culture and arts, as well as to build more performance platforms for local artistic and cultural practitioners, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will hold evening concerts at Lai Chi Vun Shipyards - Plots X11-X15 in the second half of each month, between July and November, gathering musicians from various regions and different languages to present a variety of musical performances in multiple music genres and promote exchanges. The concert “Exchange between musicians from Hong Kong and Macao” will be held at 4pm on 29 July. Admission is free. Residents and tourists are welcome to participate.

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) organized 17 Macao enterprises to attend the “Singapore Food Expo 2023” on 21-24 July. Some of the exhibitors applauded on the event for the number of visitors and their spending power, as they sold more than half of their products on the second day of event. Some of the exhibitors were surprised by the Singapore Livestream Shopping platform, which enabled them to sell dozens of products in just a few seconds. Cheered by the good quality and competitive price of Macao’s products, some of the distributors simply purchased the whole batch of products and planned to develop long-term co-operation with the relevant Macao exhibitors. It reflects that the “Made in Macao” and “Macao brand” products have gained recognition and positive feedback from the local, thus the enterprises will increase their efforts to further expand the ASEAN market.

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) and Air Macau jointly organized a familiarization trip for tourism industries in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, to continue expanding international tourist source markets. During this period, the delegation participated in travel mart and exchange with the Macao tourism industry, promoted business matching, and jointly explored business opportunities for cooperation.
