Four staff members and two outsourced workers of Health Bureau tested positive by nucleic acid test; Necessary measures have been taken to safeguard patients and staff
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that, since the beginning of the current epidemic, a total of six Health Bureau workers have been infected so far. These include: 1 swab taker at NAT sampling station, 2 outsourced cleaners of CHCSJ, 1 nurse of the Public Health Clinical Centre in Ka Ho, 1 nurse of the Emergency Room, and 1 auxiliary staff. The 6 workers were detected as positive by nucleic acid test between 26-28 June via the citywide NAT programme and the routine screening drive for targeted populations. Their range of activities involves the haemodialysis zone, pharmacy and emergency room of CHCSJ, the Public Health Clinical Centre in Ka Ho, and certain parts of the resting areas for cleaning staff and the back-office areas.

Residents urged to declare correct residential address information on Macao Health Code

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that, in order to avoid being included in the lockdown or precautionary zones due to the failure to update or input errors in the address declared or selected in the Macao Health Code, and therefore results in being assigned a red or yellow health code, residents are urged to check the information in the “Residential residence” in the Macao Health Code as soon as possible.

Change of parking location of one NAT mobile bus to the leisure area in Praça de Ponte e Horta

According to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, citizens residing in yellow-coded zones are subject to nucleic acid testing on Days 1, 2, 4 and 7. For the convenience of these citizens, during a period of 4 consecutive days from today (29 June) to 2 July, two NAT mobile buses will be deployed to provide sampling service at two different locations from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

External merchandise trade statistics for May 2022
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that total merchandise export amounted to MOP1.14 billion in May 2022, up by 16.2% year-on-year. Value of re-exports (MOP978 million) grew by 20.3%, of which re-exports of Garments and Diamond & diamond jewellery surged by 234.3% and 97.1% respectively while those of Non-diamond jewellery declined by 61.6%. Value of domestic exports (MOP165 million) dropped by 3.1%, of which domestic exports of Garments decreased by 30.9% while those of Copper & articles thereof rose by 14.7%. Meanwhile, total merchandise import went down by 22.5% year-on-year to MOP12.05 billion; imports of Mobile phones, Beauty, cosmetic & skincare products and Watches fell by 69.9%, 34.2% and 25.0% respectively, whereas imports of Food & beverages and Electronic components expanded by 41.2% and 19.3% respectively. Merchandise trade deficit in May 2022 totalled MOP10.90 billion.

Transport and communications statistics for May 2022
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that licensed motor vehicles in Macao totalled 246,949 as at end-May 2022, up by 1.0% year-on-year; light automobiles (113,078) and heavy motorcycles (106,233) increased by 1.1% and 2.6% respectively. New registration of motor vehicles in May declined by 20.4% year-on-year to 728 (128 of them were electric vehicles), with that of light automobiles falling by 31.2% to 293 (42 of them were electric). In the first five months of 2022, new registration of motor vehicles dropped by 15.2% year-on-year to 4,572. Number of traffic accidents in May decreased by 10.4% year-on-year to 992, with 1 person killed and 342 persons injured. From January to May 2022, there were 4,901 traffic accidents, which resulted in 5 deaths and 1,705 injuries.
