Macao’s Base Rate of the Discount Window Raised to 2.75%

The Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) raised the Base Rate of the Discount Window today (28 July 2022) by 75 basis points to 2.75%.


NAT arrangement for the vicinity of Avenida do Almirante Magalhães Correia – Avenida do Nordeste, and the vicinity of Avenida do Nordeste – Rua dos Pescadores which are listed as key areas from 28 to 29 July

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, to identify and treat any potential infected persons who may still be lurking in the local community as early as possible, a one-time NAT drive will be launched in the key areas in which most recent cases were found; therefore, people in the following key areas are subject to a nucleic acid test on either 28 July (Thursday) or 29 July (Friday).


2 new NAT stations to provide services from tomorrow (28 July)

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, in response to the need for nucleic acid testing in people in key areas, key groups and those leaving home for work, the following 2 NAT stations will be additionally set up:

6 general stations and 1 caring station to open until 22:00

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, in response to the need for nucleic acid testing of people in key areas, key groups and those leaving home for work, starting from tomorrow (28 July), the service hours of the following NAT stations will be adjusted to 08:00-22:00; this involves 6 general stations and 1 caring station:

The Delegation of the Macao SAR Government briefed the Committee on the implementation and responded to the questions raised by it.
