Test results by all 53 free NAT stations today (3 August) can be used for border-crossing purpose
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre reiterates that the results of nucleic acid tests performed anytime today (3 August), at any of the 53 free NAT stations in Macao will be uploaded to the Macao Health Code and can be used for border-crossing purpose within the next 24 hours. There is no need for members of the public to rush to get tested.

Passenger Clearance Halls of Border Gate Checkpoint to Suspend Operation Temporarily

According to the notice from the Zhuhai-Macao Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism on 3 August, in view that the old passenger clearance halls of Gongbei Port are closed for undergoing fire safety improvement works, while equipment and facilities are being installed in the new passenger clearance halls, the Gongbei Port will be postponed to put into operation on 5 August 2022 at 06H00.

All NAT results in Macao from 2 to 3 August can be used for border-crossing purpose

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, to fulfil the needs of people departing Macao, the NAT results of people who have completed sampling at all free NAT stations anytime between 2 August and 3 August – including key groups and people who leave home for work – will be uploaded to the Macao Health Code and can be used for border-crossing purpose. Members of the public do not need to rush for nucleic acid testing, which would cause crowding. However, results of free nucleic acid testing on or after 4 August cannot be used for border-crossing purpose.

Community Treatment Centre (Hall C of Macao East Asian Games Dome) to cease operation at 22:00 tonight
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that, as Macao has entered the stabilization period of epidemic prevention and control, the number of people using the quarantine station at the Community Treatment Centre (Hall C of Macao East Asian Games Dome) has been decreasing recently; for this reason, the quarantine station will cease operation at 22:00 today (2 August), and will resume service for sports activities after thorough cleaning and disinfection.

MGTO calls for strict compliance with latest pandemic guidelines in the industry Stepping up inspections upon supervised establishments during stabilization period
Promulgated on the Macao SAR Gazette on 1 August 2022, the Executive Order No. 139/2022 lifts the previous ban on operations of health clubs, karaoke lounges, bars and other leisure facilities as well as dine-in services at food and beverage establishments, which can resume from 2 August. Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) urges all establishments under its supervision to strictly follow the latest pandemic guidelines issued by Health Bureau, while the Office will beef up patrols during the stabilization period for pandemic prevention.
