Public servants devoting all-out effort to anti-epidemic work

The Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Government has announced on Sunday (26 June) – in view of the latest COVID-19 situation in Macao – the suspension, from 27 June to 1 July inclusive, of non-essential services at public departments.

Cultural Affairs Bureau adjusts the registration period for activities and the deadline of ticket refunds for the 32nd Macao Arts Festival

In line with the SAR Government’s epidemic prevention and control measures, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) closed its cultural facilities and suspended all cultural activities and external services. In view of the pandemic impact, IC has also adjusted the registration period for some activities and the deadline of ticket refunds for 32nd Macao Arts Festival.

IAM extends submission deadlines for public tenders

To facilitate pandemic prevention work, the general public service points of the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) are closed temporarily. The submission deadlines for the public tenders that are underway for various procurement and construction projects are extended to give interested suppliers reasonable amount of time to submit their tenders, as a way to minimise the impacts on the tender periods. The adjusted submission deadlines will be announced with further notice.


The public are reminded to take one COVID-19 rapid antigen test today (26 June)

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak in Macao since 18 June, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announced yesterday (25 June) that all people in Macao are required to take one rapid antigen test for COVID-19 (hereinafter referred to as the “rapid antigen test”) on 25 and 26 June respectively.


The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre urges the public to beware of fraudulent calls from fake health departments

Recently members of the public received calls from unknown people who claimed that the people receiving the calls had been tested positive in the NAT and their respective health codes were about to be changed to "yellow codes". The callers requested the people receiving the calls to provide personal information for identity verification so that they could be sent to the makeshift hospital for isolation later.


IAS releases video tutorial on how to report rapid antigen test results

The Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) has produced a step-by-step video tutorial to familiarize the elderly with the process of registering the results of rapid antigen tests on the ‘Rapid Antigen Test Reporting Platform’. It is hoped that social service organisations and different sectors of the community will help disseminate the video widely so that the elderly can learn to report the test results on their own.
