NAT arrangement for the vicinity of Border Gate – Bairro Iao Hon Municipal Market which is listed as key area from 24 to 26 July

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, to identify and treat any potential infected persons who may still be lurking in the local community as early as possible, from 24 July (Sunday) to 26 July (Tuesday), people in the following key area are subject to a nucleic acid test daily.

IAS will maintain minimum services from Monday to Friday
In conjunction with the anti-epidemic work of the MSAR Government,the Social Welfare Bureau (SWB) will continue to providelimited services from July 25 to July 29, 2022;appointments are required, except forthe Detoxification and Maintenance Treatment Services in the Areia Preta Drug Treatment Centre (Methadone) and in the Carmo (Taipa) Drug Treatment Centre (Methadone)which will continue to operate normally.
If residents are in need of urgent services,they should request the respective information by phone and make an appointment in advance, and be at the service location at the scheduled time in order to minimize the risk of being infected due to potential crowding.

IAM steps up inspections of licensed establishments and urges business establishments to cooperate with measures for hygiene and pandemic prevention
During the “consolidation period” starting from today, barbershops can operate on a limited basis. Dine-in service remains suspended in food and beverage establishments and they can only offer takeaway service. Cinemas, beauty parlours, amusement game centres, cyber cafes and other establishments remain closed. The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has stepped up inspections of establishments licensed and supervised by IAM in various districts and found that a few barbershops failed to strictly implement the pandemic prevention guidelines on operation of establishments. The barbershops have made improvements after rectification by the authorities.

Guia Hill Fitness Trail and walking trial in Reservatório Park are generally in good order and IAM calls on public to go to facilities during off-peak hours
During the “consolidation period” starting from today, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) opens the Guia Hill Fitness Trail, the walking trial in the Reservatório Park, the cycle track in the Leisure Area on Taipa Waterfront and the Lotus Cycle Track on a limited basis, for the public to take leisure walks for body and mind relaxation. The venues are generally in good order. IAM calls on the public to go to the facilities during off-peak hours, and learn about the situations of the venues in advance via the special webpage to make better arrangements for going out and avoid crowd gatherings.

IAM adopts crowd control measure in Rua da Emenda during the daytime from today onwards
As Macao enters the “consolidation period” of pandemic prevention and control, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) adopts crowd control measure in Rua da Emenda and some road sections of Rua de Tomé Pires where there is high people flow during the daytime from today (23 July) onwards. Most members of the public and businesses have been understanding and complied with the measure, and the overall operation has been smooth. IAM calls on members of the public to do their shopping during off-peak hours again and comply with the different pandemic prevention measures.

Arrangement of Judiciary Police's public services between 25 and 29 July
To fully support the SAR government's efforts in tackling the epidemic and to ensure public safety, the Judiciary Police will deploy officers to assist anti-epidemic work, increase patrol, as well as strengthen crime prevention. In regards of public services, the Judiciary Police Case Reporting and Emergency Operation Centre, and Reporting Room will operate continuously between 25 and 29 July. All appointments to come to the Judiciary Police to assist in police investigation (statement taking) or take the "paternity test” within this period will be rescheduled and individuals concerned will be notified on a workday.
