Two additional mobile NAT buses to park at the Affiliated School of the University of Macau and Macau Anglican College during the 8th round of Citywide NAT

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that, to further facilitate NAT sampling for residents in certain areas, taking effect from the 8th round of Citywide NAT (12 to 13 July), two additional mobile NAT buses will be engaged, which will park at the Affiliated School of the University of Maca (Rua de Tai Lin, Lote BT-34, Taipa) and Macau Anglican College (Beco da Baía, Taipa). Residents can make an appointment via the Citywide NAT booking system (https://eservice.ssm.gov.mo/allpeoplernatestbook) from 07:00 tomorrow (12 July). Relevant parking arrangement is as follows:

Citywide NAT – Round 7 (15H00): 599,979 samples collected; 465,775 proved negative; cumulatively 12 tubes of mixed samples tested positive

With regard to the 7th round of citywide NAT programme, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces the following:


The Civil Protection Operations Centre of the Unitary Police Service has coordinated with the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau, government departments and organizations in intensifying community outreach and patrol enforcement actions

In order to support the epidemic prevention work of the SAR Government, the Civil Protection Operations Centre of the Unitary Police Service has coordinated the Customs of Macao Special Administrative Region, Judiciary Police, Public Security Police Force, together with the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau and 34 government departments and organizations to carry out their corresponding duties in conducting patrols and law enforcement actions, as well as publicity and persuasion work in all districts of Macao since 00:00 this morning (11 July). The first phase of it will be an advisory process for violators. In the future, various departments will intensify their community outreach and patrol enforcement actions, as well as conduct direct prosecution against anyone who violates the epidemic prevention measures.


Public comply with crowd control measures at markets in good order; IAM strengthens inspections of markets and no fluctuations in market prices are observed

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has evaluated the actual people flow in all markets and has adopted control measures to reduce crowd gatherings. A special passage has also been set up for the elderly and individuals with mobility issues. The public have complied with the measures to enter the markets and the overall order has been good. Inspection staff have also strengthened inspections of the prices of goods in public markets. It is found that the market prices have been kept stable and no fluctuations have been observed.


IAM: Pet owners can bring animals out for medical treatments

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) states that to cooperate with relevant Chief Executive Writ of Instruction,the activities necessary for residents’ basic living needs are maintained and the operation of non-essential commercial activities is suspended. However, reasonable travel needs of pet owners to bring their animals out for medical treatments are not affected by the measure. Pet owners are urged to abide by the pandemic prevention guidelines of the health authorities during the process of seeking medical treatments of their animals.


The 7th round of Citywide NAT Programme will end today (July 11) at 18:00 and those 160,000 unsampled citizens are urged take the test asap

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that, the 7th round of Citywide NAT Programme will end today (July 11) at 18:00. As of 12:00 noon today, there are still 160,000 citizens who have not been sampled. So far, all stations have a smooth flow of people, and all general stations with a waiting time of less than 15 minutes do not need an appointment. The public should go to take the test as soon as possible. In addition, employers are urged to handle with discretion the time employees go to take the test.


A total of 12 tubes of mixed samples tested positive as of 08:00 in the 7th round of Citywide NAT; Concerned NAT stations and sampling time announced

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that the 7th round of Citywide NAT Programme has been launched at 09:00 yesterday (10 July). As of 08:00 today (11 July), a total of 12 tubes of mixed samples have been tested positive.
