DSI calls for eligible citizens to use electronic means to apply for identification documents

In response to the increase in the number of applications for Macao SAR Resident Identity Cards and Macao SAR Travel Documents recently, the Identification Services Bureau (DSI) calls for eligible citizens to use electronic means to apply for identification documents to avoid queuing for number tickets.


“Yourpay” application – Unauthorized financial activities

The Monetary Authority of Macao (“AMCM”) is aware of the use of“Yourpay"application by the public to conduct money transfers from Macao to Indonesia, and the promotion of such application to residents in various social media platforms. AMCM alerts the public that“Yourpay"is not an authorized application for conducting any regulated financial activities in the Macao Special Administrative Region.


Employment survey for October-December 2022

Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that both the general unemployment rate (3.5%) and the unemployment rate of local residents (4.5%) for October-December 2022 decreased by 0.2 percentage points from the previous period (September-November 2022). Besides, the underemployment rate dropped by 0.4 percentage points to 3.9%.

MUR continues to promote Iao Hon Estate old neighbourhood renewal, assists Seng I House property owners to set up management committee

To better promote the Iao Hon Estate old neighbourhood renewal project, Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) has been actively assisting property owners of Iao Hon Estate to play an active role in the old neighbourhood renewal process. With the coordination from different sides, MUR has recently helped property owners of the Estate’s Seng I House organise condominium owners’ general assembly meetings to set up their own management committees (also known as property owners’ associations) to form the basis of the redevelopment of Seng I House, which is one of the seven blocks of flats that make up Iao Hon Estate.
