A total of 31 tubes of mixed samples tested positive as of 15:00 in the 5th round of Citywide NAT; Concerned NAT stations and sampling time announced

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that the 5th round of Citywide NAT Programme has been launched at 09:00 yesterday (6 July). As of 15:00 today (7 July), a total of 31 tubes of mixed samples have been tested positive.


UM's Portuguese Language Summer Course to begin next week, 3 online talks open to public for free

Because of the recently development of the epidemic, the 36th Portuguese Language Summer Course, organised by the University of Macau (UM) Department of Portuguese, has moved online and will begin on 11 July. This year’s summer course has attracted students from Japan, mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macao. Over 50 per cent of students will enroll in courses at intermediate or advanced levels.

With regard to the 5th round of citywide NAT programme, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces the following:


Citizens are required to fill-in correct information on Rapid Antigen Test Reporting Platform which enables door-to-door sample collection when tested positive in mixed samples

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that, the mobile sampling teams would be able to provide door-to-door sample collection for persons tested positive in mixed samples only when specific location of the such individuals can be confirmed.


The 5th round of Citywide NAT Programme will end today (July 7) at 18:00 and those 130,000 unsampled citizens are urged take the test asap

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that, the 5th round of Citywide NAT Programme will end today (July 7) at 18:00. As of 12:00 noon today, there are still 130,000 citizens who have not been sampled. So far, all stations have a smooth flow of people, and all general stations with a waiting time of less than 15 minutes do not need an appointment. The public should go to take the test as soon as possible. In addition, employers are urged to handle with discretion the time employees go to take the test.


CCM cancels July's ARTmusing Summer Workshops

In response to the latest epidemic outbreak in Macao and aligned with the government's prevention and control measures, the Macao Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is cancellingARTmusing Summer Workshopsdue to start on or before the 31st July. The information of the workshops scheduled for August will be announced later.


Additional positive cases between 00:00-24:00 yesterday (6 July)

According to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, new positive cases within 24 hours yesterday (6 July) include: 41 cases in the Red Code zones and medical observation hotels, which were detected under management and control; 36 cases of close contacts, 38 cases in the Citywide NAT and Key Groups NAT, and 13 cases among other population groups, which were detected within the community.

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that the 5th round of Citywide NAT Programme has been launched at 09:00 yesterday (6 July). As of 08:00 today (7 July), a total of 30 tubes of mixed samples have been tested positive.

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that the 5th round of Citywide NAT Programme has been launched at 09:00 today (6 July). As of 21:00 today (6 July), a total of 16 tubes of mixed samples have been tested positive.
