To celebrate the 73^rd Anniversary of the Establishment of the People’s Republic of China, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at our Philatelic Shop of General Post Office, from 9:00 to 14:00 on 1^st October 2022 to provide the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “Celebration of the 73^rd Anniversary of the Establishment of the People’s Republic of China”. A commemorative envelope priced at MOP3.00 will be issued.

The ceremony of the Central People's Government's RMB sovereign bond issuance in Macao took place at the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries on 7 September, 2022. The Chief Executive of the Macao SAR, Mr. Ho Iat Seng, the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, Mr. Zheng Xincong, the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the Macao SAR, Mr. Liu Xianfa, the Director-General of the Finance Department, the Ministry of Finance of the PRC (MOF), Mr. Wang Kebing, the Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macao SAR Government, Mr. Lei Wai Nong, and representatives from financial institutions attended the ceremony. Mr. Lei Wai Nong, Mr. Wang Kebing, the Executive Vice-President of Bank of China, Mr. Lin Jingzhen, and the Executive Vice-President of Bank of Communications, Mr. Guo Mang spoke at the ceremony.

The opening ceremony of The House of Macao Literature was held at 4pm on 17 September and was officiated by the representative of the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government, the Chief of Office of the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Ho Ioc San; the Director of the Department of Publicity and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, Wan Sucheng; the President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, Leong Wai Man; Member of the Cultural Consultative Committee, Carlos Marreiros; and the President of the Pen of Macau, Lei Kun Teng. The House of Macao Literature will be open to the general public from tomorrow, showing the aspects of Macao’s literature to residents and tourists, facilitating literary exchanges and diversified combination, and providing a greater space for the development of local literature.

The 2022 Portuguese Speaking Countries Products and Services Exhibition (Macao) (2022PLPEX), for the first time, collaborates with the “G100 International Wine & Spirits Awards”, a professional wine and spirits competition in the Mainland. The event started with a wine competition in Shenzhen, followed by a touring exhibition in Hangzhou, and will end with an awards ceremony at the 2022PLPEX in Macao, where a Tasting Area will be in place. It aims to help SMEs “go global” at PLPEX and promote the wines and culture of Portuguese-speaking countries. Over 200 wine communities and over 1,000 distributors in the Mainland participated in the live session.
