Current operational arrangements for social service facilities to be maintained during consolidation period

The Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) announces that the basic arrangements for social service facilities/service programmes during the upcoming pandemic control consolidation period between July 23 and 29 are as follows:


IAM adopts crowd control measures in Rua da Emenda during “consolidation period” and calls on public to do their shopping during off-peak hours

To coordinate with pandemic prevention and control work, crowd control measures will be implemented in Rua da Emenda and some road sections of Rua de Tomé Pires every day from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. during the “consolidation period” from 23 to 29 July. The public can only proceed towards Avenida de Horta e Costa after entering Rua da Emenda, and the section of Rua de Tomé Pires situated between Rua do Lu Cao and Rua do Rebanho will be restricted to one way forward only. The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will install signs and send additional staff to carry out inspection on site. The public are advised to comply with the measures.


IAM launches platform for viewing number of people in queues of facilities in hopes that public will use facilities during off-peak hours

During the “consolidation period” starting from 23 July, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will open the Guia Hill Fitness Trail, the walking trial in the Reservatório Park, the cycle track in the Leisure Area on Taipa Waterfront and the Lotus Cycle Track on a limited basis, and 16 dog parks in various districts. In order to let the public know the number of users of the facilities, IAM has launched a special webpage showing the number of people in the venues and in queues of the facilities and markets, so that the public can make better arrangements for going out. IAM will adopt crowd control measures according to the situations of the venues, calling on the public to use the facilities during off-peak hours.


DSEDJ to provide limited public services from July 25 to 29

In order to cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control work of the SAR government, the headquarters of the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) will maintain limited services for the public during office hours from July 25 to 29. During this period, the DSEDJ will only receive documents, as well as provide the following services (appointment must be made in advance through telephone), while other services and facilities of the DSEDJ are suspended until further notice.

In order to cooperate in nucleic acid test for people in the key areas, the opening hours of the 8 nucleic acid testing stations will be extended tomorrow (July 23)

In order to meet the needs of people in the key areas to go for testing, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre (the Centre) stated that the opening hours of the 8 nucleic acid testing stations near the key areas, namely St. Joseph Secondary School 2, Escola Estrela do Mar, Instituto Salesiano, Escola Tong Nam (Secondary Section), Hou Kong Middle School (Primary Section),. Pui Ching Middle School, Macau Workers' Children School (Kindergarten Section) and mobile nucleic acid testing bus – parked at Riviera Macau / Terminal, will be extended to 22:00 tomorrow (July 23).


More key areas and key groups to be tested; Macao Forum Vaccination Centre remains normal operation; Chronically ill elders are urged to get vaccinated as soon as possible

In the daily press conference of the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre on 21 July, Dr. Leong Iek Hou, the Head of Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Division of the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control of the Health Bureau, announced the inclusion of additional key areas and key groups for the targeted nucleic acid testing drive.


Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau announces the arrangement of services to the public in cooperation with epidemic prevention work

During the consolidation period of the prevention and control of the epidemic, from 23 to 29 July, in order to reduce the agglomeration of people as much as possible and to minimize the risk of virus propagation, the Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau (ISAF) provides limited services to the public during office hours. The arrangements are as below:
