Samples of mangoes test positive for novel coronavirus and the whole batch has been destroyed and has not entered the market
Samples collected from a batch of mangoes imported from Taiwan region tested positive for the novel coronavirus nucleic acid yesterday (29 June). The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) immediately initiated the contingency plan, and sealed and destroyed the 20 boxes of affected goods weighing a total of 100 kilogrammes. None of the products concerned entered the market. IAM also carried out thorough disinfection of the surrounding environment where the affected goods were kept, and information about individuals who have come into contact with the goods has been provided to the health authorities for investigation and follow-up. IAM suspended the import of products from the same source from the producer concerned for one week starting from today.

Cancellation of 48-hour NAT rule for construction workers and casino employees
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre indicates that, having regard to the multitude of construction workers and casino employees, undergoing nucleic acid testing every two days – despite its benefit of lowering the transmission risk in workplaces – can cause crowd gathering at sampling stations, which is not conducive to epidemic prevention and control.

Service of supplies delivery suspended for Edf. San Mei On Block 2 today
Edf. San Mei On Block 2 has been upgraded to a Red Code Zone from a Yellow Code Zone. The Subsistence Team is collecting the information about the households one by one and delivering emergency food packs. As there are many households in the building, the supplies delivery session of Edf. San Mei On Block 2 from 3 pm to 5 pm today (30 June) is cancelled to ensure the smooth progress of work. Residents are advised to inform their relatives and friends not to deliver supplies to the site today.

Subsistence Team distributes food packs to households in lockdown buildings in advance to cope with typhoon
In view of the possibility of unstable weather conditions in Macao brought by Tropical Cyclone Chaba, in order to provide assistance for households in lockdown buildings in typhoon preparations, the Subsistence Team will distribute food packs of vegetables and frozen meat or emergency food packs to the households in advance today (30 June). The food packs serve as storage food in case of the food packs of vegetables and frozen meat or meal boxes not able to be delivered at the door during the typhoon period.

Citywide NAT has ended; not all test results are available due to failure of testing agency
With regard to this round of citywide NAT programme (9:00 am on 27 June to 6:00 pm on 28 June) that has ended, 652,544 people were sampled, 652,124 test results are available and tested negative. A cumulative total of 48 tubes of mixed samples have been tested positive. Results of 132 people are pending.

88 additional positive cases between 00:00-24:00 yesterday (29 June), taking the total to 572
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that from 00:00 to 24:00 yesterday (29 June), Macao has recorded 88 additional cases that have tested positive by nucleic acid tests, taking the total number of cases to 572. Among the new cases, 49 were detected in the community, 39 were detected in individuals under management and control. Itineraries of the above cases will be uploaded to the Special Webpage Against Epidemics for public reference soon.
