Corrective action has been taken after confirming the sampling records of some citizens which were not uploaded to the Citywide NAT system
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that, it was discovered that between 00:43 and 19:55 yesterday (24 June) in a NAT station operated by a testing agency, registration for some citizens participating in the citywide NAT has been mistaken input in other registration system when additional computers were put into operation during the mass testing drive, which resulted in failure to upload their sampling records to the corresponding citywide NAT system.

IAM conducts comprehensive cleaning and disinfection of markets, with hawkers completing antigen tests before opening every day
In view of the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre’s announcement of the local travel histories of the confirmed cases, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has immediately carried out large-scale and comprehensive cleaning and disinfection of multiple markets including the Bairro Iao Hon Municipal Market, especially the stalls and public facilities where the confirmed cases had been to. Since this outbreak of the pandemic, IAM has strictly required all hawkers in the markets to complete rapid antigen tests before working and be checked by market inspection staff before opening every day. During work, they are required to strictly abide by the guidelines for hygiene and pandemic prevention, and take adequate personal hygiene protection measures to protect the health of themselves and consumers.

In response to the rumours on online social platforms claiming that the family members of the Chief Executive attended the wedding banquet held in Grand Lisboa Palace on June 18 and it involved the situation of non-compliance with entry and quarantine measures, Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre (the Centre) clarified that after checking the epidemiological investigation data, it was confirmed that neither the Chief Executive nor his family members attended the said wedding banquet on June 18. The Centre also denied rumours that the family members involved are only a few months old to four years old and clarified that they are not in the UK or other foreign places. The online rumours are seriously inconsistent with the facts and are malicious rumours. It has been handed over to the police for further investigation.

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre urges all people in Macao to cooperate by self-administering one rapid antigen test for novel coronavirus (hereinafter referred to as the “rapid antigen test”) today and tomorrow (25 and 26 June), respectively. If the rapid antigen test result is positive, in addition to declaring it through Macao Health Code, one should call an ambulance by phone at 119, 120 or 2857 2222 to go to Conde de São Januário Hospital to undergo a nucleic acid test as soon as possible, regardless of whether having a fever or respiratory symptoms or not.
