Opening ceremony of Exhibition “The Empress Regnant – Wu Zetian and the Divine Capital of Luoyang”

In order to promote historical and cultural exchanges between Henan and Macao, and to leverage Macao’s role as a vital window for exchange and mutual learning between Chinese and Western civilisations, the exhibition “The Empress Regnant – Wu Zetian and the Divine Capital of Luoyang”, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and the Henan Provincial Administration of Cultural Heritage, and coordinated by the Macao Museum, Henan Museum, Longmen Grottoes Academy and Luoyang Museum, was inaugurated today (23 September) at the Mount Fortress Garden. The opening ceremony was officiated by the President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Leong Wai Man; the Deputy Director of the Henan Provincial Administration of Cultural Heritage, Zhang Huiming; the Deputy Director of the Luoyang Municipal Administration of Cultural Heritage, Wu Rongquan; the Director of the Security Department of Henan Museum, Liu Zhenjiang; and the representative of the Principal of Pui Ching Middle School and the Director of Academic Affairs of Pui Ching Middle School, Lam Kin Pong.
