103,594 samples collected as of 15:00 among persons in key areas, key groups and those leaving home for work; 34,218 of collected samples have been tested and returned as negative
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that with regard to the NAT drive for persons in key areas, key groups, and those who need to leave home for work, a total of 103,594 samples have been collected as of 15:00 today (25 July); among them, 34,218 samples have been analysed, and their results are negative. A cumulative total of 356,150 samples have been collected since yesterday (24 July).

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that, to identify and treat any potential infected persons who may still be lurking in the local community as early as possible, people in the following key areas are subject to a nucleic acid test on either 26 July (Tuesday) or 27 July (Wednesday).

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre indicates that citizens may bring their defective RAT kits their corresponding health centre or health station for replacement today (25 July); however, it is found that some citizens have not followed the procedures in the instructions of the test kit when performing the rapid antigen test, which led to abnormal results or mistakenly belief that the kit is defective.

UM rector elected vice president of China Association of Higher Education
Yonghua Song, rector of the University of Macau (UM), was elected vice president of the China Association of Higher Education at the eighth meeting of the general assembly of the association held on 24 July in Beijing. During the meeting, Zhong Denghua, vice minister of education of China, gave a speech, and Du Yubo, president of the seventh council of the association, delivered a work report. Supplies delivery service for two Red Code Zones suspended today to facilitate nucleic acid test for households
To facilitate the Health Bureau’s arrangement for households to undergo nucleic acid sampling and the delivery of supplies, the Subsistence Team suspends the service of delivering supplies from relatives and friends for the households in Merry Court and Edf. Kat Cheong originally scheduled for 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm today (July 25). Relevant households are advised to ask their relatives and friends not to send supplies to the sites today.
