Consumer Council pays close attention to face mask supply Residents suggested to purchase sensibly for personal use

The Consumer Council indicates that with the support from departments in the Mainland, relevant departments in the SAR Government are working on the stability of face mask supply in Macao. The current supply of face mask on the market is adequate and residents should not be worried.






19th Macao City Fringe Festival was concluded successfully

The 19th Macao City Fringe Festival, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, was concluded successfully on 19 January. This rich art feast featuring a total of 17 extraordinary programmes and 13 outreach activities during 10 consecutive days earned enthusiastic support from the public. This edition of the Macao City Fringe Festival, themed “Boundless creation will show you around!”, featured artists from all over the world who guided the audience on a journey full of fantasy through the streets and alleys of Macao.


Consumer Council released price survey on 11 festive foods

Consumer Council collected prices of 11 festive foods, including sweets and biscuits, from 24 retail outlets on 17 January. The collected data has been uploaded to the Council’s website (www.consumer.gov.mo) and the ‘Supermarket Price Information Platform’ iPhone and Android apps. Consumers can also check the data through the Council’s official WeChat account.




CE affirms roles of Portuguese-, English-language press

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, today said local news organisations reporting respectively in Portuguese and English played a significant role in promoting the coexistence in Macao of Chinese culture and Western cultures.
