Survey on vocational training 2018
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that there were 56 institutions offering vocational training courses in 2018, a decrease of 1 compared with 2017. A total of 1,761 courses were organised, up by 4.5% year-on-year. Total number of participants rose by 3.3% to 68,686.

MoU signed with Imperial College London, UM to launch 1+3 PhD scheme
The University of Macau (UM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Imperial College London (Imperial) to forge linkage and collaboration between the two universities. The MoU was signed by Prof Yonghua Song, rector of UM, and Prof Ian Walmsley, provost of Imperial College London. The two universities agreed to develop joint research and education activities in areas of mutual interest as well as to promote staff mobility.
