The Consumer Council conducted a questionnaire on the terms and conditions of companies offering destination wedding photography services, it is found that photography companies have various procedures and charges when provided services not included in the contract, such as over-time photo taking. Consumers are suggested to peruse all contract terms and keep in mind that oral contract is not enforceable, and that all requests by consumers and all transaction details must be clearly stated in a written contract to avoid any dispute.

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) kicked-off today (April 23) its annual major promotion in Korea, this year featuring a “Macao Street” in Seoul, showcasing the city’s heritage, gastronomy and signature events, to attract more Koreans to visit Macao. 29th Macao Arts Festival opens on Friday
The 29th Macao Arts Festival (MAF), organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, kicks off this Friday, 27 April, with an opening ceremony to be held at 7:40pm in the lobby of the Macao Cultural Centre, open to the general public. Visitor arrivals for March 2018
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that visitor arrivals totalled 2,733,311 in March 2018, up by 9.3% year-on-year but down by 11.0% month-to-month. Overnight visitors (1,451,263) and same-day visitors (1,282,048) grew by 8.6% and 10.1% respectively year-on-year. The average length of stay of visitors held steady year-on-year at 1.2 days, with that of same-day visitors staying at 0.2 day while that of overnight visitors rising by 0.1 day to 2.2 days.

UM kicks off smart campus project
The University of Macau today (22 April) held the Opening Ceremony for the UM Open Day and Smart Campus. In the future, UM will use various advanced technologies, including cloud computing, virtulisation, and internet of things, to connect the university’s teaching, research, management, security, and dining systems to campus resources and application systems, in order to realise smart management. UM Rector Yonghua Song hopes that the innovative people trained through the smart campus project will eventually become leaders in the creation of a smart city in Macao.
