Maintenance of information system of the Public Library Some services to be temporarily suspended on 18 November

In order to ensure the proper operation of its information technology, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will carry out maintenance works on the information system of the Public Library from 6am to 2pm on 18 November. During this period, some services including the library catalogue search system or the electronic database on the Macao Public Library website, the mobile application “My Library” and the relevant functions of the Public Library of the Cultural Affairs Bureau in the “Macao One Account” will be suspended or affected. In addition, the circulation services of the Red Market Library and the 24-hour book drops at all the branch libraries will also be temporarily suspended in the abovementioned period.


CE expresses deepest sadness over the passing of Dr Lui Che Woo

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, has expressed his deepest sadness at the passing of Dr Lui Che Woo, the founder and chairman of Galaxy Entertainment Group. Mr Ho has sent a letter of sincere condolence to Dr Lui’s family.


Universal Postal Union offers commemorative postmark cancellation service

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Universal Postal Union (UPU), from now until 8th April 2025, the UPU is offering a free cancellation service of the “150th Anniversary of Universal Postal Union” special edition commemorative postmark. During this period, collectors can put a white envelope affixed with the stamps of “150th Anniversary of the Universal Postal Union” issued by Macao Post and Telecommunications, together with International Reply Coupons as return postage, into another envelope with return address, and mail it to the UPU headquarters (refer to address below).

【Grand Prix Month】Macao Grand Prix Museum x Galaxy Entertainment Group launch Karting History Book to ignite appeal of “tourism + sports”

Under the management of Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), the Macao Grand Prix Museum (the “Museum”) is unveiling a series of activities themed around the Macau Grand Prix in collaboration with several integrated resort enterprises in November, in active support of the upcoming 71st Macau Grand Prix. As part of the series, the “Macau’s Karting History” Book Launching Event and Racers’ Sharing Session presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group was held today (11 November). The Government and various resort enterprises join hands to manifest Macao’s appeal of “tourism + sports”, enrich the offerings of the world centre of tourism and leisure, and brighten the city’s golden calling card as an international metropolis.
