CCAC and ICAC joined hands together to share experiences of corruption fighting in Brazil

The CCAC and the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong, for the first time, cooperated with each other to deliver a training programme for overseas anti-corruption and law-enforcement agencies and sent representatives to Brazil to share the experiences of corruption fighting of the two places.



Extension of the registration period for the 43rd Macao Young Musicians Competition

Due to technical problems occurred in the registration system, the registration for the 43rd Macao Young Musicians Competition, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), which was originally scheduled to close at 4pm on 2 April, was extended to 4pm on 3 April.


Macao Museum temporarily closed to the public

Due to emergency maintenance, the Macao Museum, under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, is closed temporarily from 1 April until further notice.


Cultural Affairs Bureau organizes creative handicraft workshops at the Tap Siac Craft Market

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from its Portuguese acronym), the Tap Siac Craft Market will be held from 24 to 27 April, and from 1 to 4 May at Tap Siac Square. 65 creative handicraft workshops will be held, including 10 sessions for families. The workshops include ceramics, glass, miniature clay, painting, leather, silver accessories and floral art, integrating fun, creativity and crafts. All interested parties are welcome to participate.


Commemorative postmark cancellation service of “National Security Education Day”

To celebrate the National Security Education Day, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at the Philatelic Shop of the General Post Office from 09:00 to 17:30 on 15th April 2025, to provide the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the "National Security Education Day".


Second round of ticket sale for ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group to start on 3 April

The ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group, sanctioned by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), organized by the Sports Bureau, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and World Table Tennis Management Group Limited (WTMG), and co-organized by the Macau Table Tennis General Association, will be held at the Galaxy Arena from 14 to 20 April.



UM Faculty of Science and Technology holds first career and internship fair in Hengqin

To promote talent mobility and exchange between Macao and Hengqin, the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of the University of Macau (UM) held the first UM FST GBA T&E Career and Internship Fair. Nearly 30 renowned companies from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area participated in the fair, offering about 1,000 job opportunities in the field of technology and engineering. The fair attracted many UM students seeking jobs and career advice.


UM, Cambridge co-host first forum on sustainable development and renew cooperation agreement on visiting fellowship programme

The ‘First Clare Hall, University of Cambridge – University of Macau Forum 2025’, co-hosted by the University of Macau (UM) and Clare Hall of the University of Cambridge, took place today (31 March) at UM. The theme of the forum was ‘Interdisciplinary Approaches to Advancing Sustainable Development: Innovative Solutions to Global Challenges’. During the event, UM and Cambridge renewed their cooperation agreement on the Cambridge Clare Hall Visiting Fellowship Programme, which aims to deepen interdisciplinary collaboration in the humanities, social sciences, and technology.
