The 12^th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo will be held in Halls A, B and C of Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao, from 26 to 28 April, where the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC) has set up the Macao Pavilion “City of Performing Arts” to promote an array of featured cultural activities and performing art projects and showcase the rich cultural tourism resources of the city.

In celebration of the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao SAR, the 12^th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (referred to as the “Expo” or “MITE”) is grandly unveiled today (26 April). Riding on this major occasion, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has invited close to 100 representatives of overseas travel agency associations from numerous countries and regions and representatives of the travel trade from Hong Kong to Macao for the first time after the pandemic for the Trade Gathering Mini-Mart. They connected and discussed a wealth of business opportunities with their counterparts from Macao, besides taking part in familiarization tours in Macao and Hengqin for a better understanding of both destinations’ strengths.

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) has set up an exhibition zone at the 12^th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo (MITE) held from 26 to 28 April, a major event that brings together a great number of domestic and overseas tourism operators and businessmen to Macao. At the venue, 20 Macao enterprises organised by IPIM will exhibit and sell signature products from Portuguese-speaking countries and Macao. To give more exposure to Macao’s MICE sector advantages. IPIM will hold the “Macao-Hengqin Promotion Seminar”, coupled with information exhibition, to showcase the MICE resources of these two regions and the “Multi-venue Event” pattern to potential clients. In line with the “One-stop Service” for MICE Bidding and Support, IPIM has been striving to attract more conventions and exhibitions to be held in Macao and to make good use of various platforms to explore new opportunities.
