Women's Volleyball Nations League 2024 Macao presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group to be held in May
The Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2024 Macao presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) and jointly organized by the Sports Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, Galaxy Entertainment Group, and the Volleyball Association of Macao, China will be held at the Galaxy Arena from 28 May (Tuesday) to 2 June (Sunday) this year. Eight elite teams from China, Brazil, Italy, Dominican Republic, Japan, Netherlands, Thailand and France will vie for their best rankings in the Macao leg for a place in the finals. The organizers held a press conference today (29 April) to introduce the event details. Guests attending the press conference included the President of the Sports Bureau, Pun Weng Kun; Director of Galaxy Entertainment Group, Philip Cheng; and President of the Board of Directors of the Volleyball Association of Macao, China, Ma Chi Seng.

UM FLL delegation visits judicial and academic institutions in Portugal
To promote judicial exchanges and cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, Tong Io Cheng, dean of the Faculty of Law (FLL) at the University of Macau (UM), led a delegation from the Centre for Judicial and Legal Studies of China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries to visit judicial and academic institutions in Portugal and engage in exchanges with Portuguese representatives. All parties agreed that there is ample room for cooperation between China and Portugal in the field of justice and that judicial cooperation between the two sides can be further strengthened by enhancing the exchange of personnel, information sharing, and judicial assistance.

Dr. Sun Yat Sen Swimming Pool, Taipa Central Park Swimming Pool, Hac Sa Park Swimming Pool and Cheoc Van Swimming Pool open to public from 1 May
Starting from 1 May, four outdoor swimming pools managed by Sports Bureau (ID) including Dr. Sun Yat Sen Swimming Pool, Taipa Central Park Swimming Pool, Hac Sa Park Swimming Pool, and Cheoc Van Swimming Pool, will be open to the public. The daily opening hours will be divided into three sessions (see appendix for the detailed).
