Package tours and hotel occupancy rate for February 2025
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that inbound package tour visitors totalled 145,000 in February 2025, an uplift of 3.8% year-on-year. Number of available guest rooms in hotel establishments decreased by 5.7% year-on-year to 44,000, while the average occupancy rate of guest rooms rose by 5.5 percentage points to 90.6%. The average length of stay of guests remained at 1.6 nights.

“Pearl Metropolitan” home-swap housing project is now complete construction
The “Pearl Metropolitan” home-swap housing project on Lot P in the new reclamation area of Areia Preta has completed construction and is undergoing acceptance procedures. At present, Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) is progressively allowing applicants eligible for home-swap to visit and inspect the units they intend to purchase.

The Electoral Affairs Commission for the Legislative Assembly Election and the Commission Against Corruption (CCAC) held a public session to explain the electoral process, aiming to help those who intend to form a nomination committee and run for election, to gain a deeper understanding of various election matters. This would enable them to exercise correctly their rights and fulfil their obligations under the law throughout the election process.

UM Career and Internship Fair offers over 3,000 job opportunities
The University of Macau (UM) held the Career and Internship Fair 2025 today (26 March). More than 110 companies and organisations from different sectors in Macao and other cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area participated in the fair, offering over 3,000 job opportunities. The university also organised a series of career guidance activities to help graduating students find jobs.
