[Multi-venue Event] 2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Fair for Trade in Services (BAFTIS) kicks off from 6 to 8 December

Jointly hosted by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, the People’s Government of Zhuhai Municipality, the Hong Kong Commerce and Economic Development Bureau and the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), the “2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Fair for Trade in Services (BAFTIS)” will be held from 6 to 8 December adopting as a “multi-venue event” in three regions simultaneously. The venues will be set up in Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao to highlight the annual achievements of the trade in services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in a comprehensive way by means of “forum + exhibition + activity”. Themed “Reconnection in the Diversified MICE Tourism”, the “Sub-Forum: Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Forum on MICE Tourism Economy” will be held on 7 December.





Monetary and financial statistics – October 2023

According to statistics released today (5 December) by the Monetary Authority of Macao, broad money supply continued to grow in October. Meanwhile, resident deposits rose from a month ago whereas loans to residents posted a decline.

ARTy Christmas at CCM Jolliest Christmas back in town

The Cultural Affairs Bureau is launching its newest Arty Christmas, an artistic jamboree for all ages, bringing audiences together at the Macao Cultural Centre in the afternoon of 17 December (Sunday), from 14:30 to 17:30. From inspiring performances and interactive programmes to a string of creative workshops, this celebration features an array of entertaining activities for both residents and tourists.


Founder of mainland IP brand, Li Yan, shares his experience with practitioners of cultural and creative industries

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym), the “Trendy Culture in the New Era + IP Licensing Industry Trend Lecture” was held in the Auditorium of the Macao Museum of Art (MAM). The renowned contemporary artist and IP brand founder in mainland China, Li Yan, was invited to share his experience in IP licensing with practitioners from the local cultural and creative industries, receiving an enthusiastic response.
