IAM introduces public tender of market stalls to youth groups in hope of attracting more young, innovative and active business operators

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) is carrying out a public tender for a total of 15 stalls in Horta da Mitra Market and Patane Food Court. Over 60 youth representatives of the Macao Youth Federation, the Macao New Chinese Youth Association and the General Association of Chinese Students of Macau were previously invited to an explanatory session organised to introduce the formalities and overview of the public tender of stalls. It is hoped that more youth with creative and new business ideas can be attracted to engage in the market industry, assisting in the sustainable development of markets.




CTT organized the “2023 Macao Cybersecurity Professionals Shenzhen Inspection and Exchange Delegation”

The "2023 Macao Cybersecurity Professionals Shenzhen Inspection and Exchange Delegation" organized by the Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau (CTT) and co-organized by the Science and Technology Development Fund andthe Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, was successfully held on 10th November this year. The activity invited cybersecurity professionals total of 30 people from private operators of critical infrastructure in the fields of television and audio broadcasting, telecommunications networks, qualified private legal entities of public administrative utility in the scientific and technological area, and commercial companies with exclusively public capital, visited cybersecurity-related institutions in Shenzhen and Dongguan for inspection and exchange.




Quality Assurance Expert Panel Visited Macao Polytechnic University to Promote Exchange and Co-operation on Quality Assurance in Higher Education

In order to further understand the development of higher education and quality assurance in Macao, Acting Chair Carol Lynn Bobby and members of the Quality Assurance Expert Panel (QEP) visited Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) under the arrangement of the Education and Youth Development Bureau. The Panel was warmly received by the Vice Rector, Dr. Lei Ngan Lin, and was introduced to the development of teaching, research and quality accreditation at the University. A cordial and fruitful discussion on issues such as the progress of higher education teaching and learning evaluation and accreditation was held.
