24-hour Tourism Hotline remains in operation “Stay, Dine and See Macao” local tours and student tours are suspended
While typhoon signal No. 8 or above is in force, the 24-hour Tourism Hotline (2833 3000) of Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) remains in operation round the clock. By mobile text message, the Office notifies Macao residents in the Mainland and visitors in Macao about typhoon updates. Relevant weather news is posted on MGTO’s website and platforms on social media.

Declaration of entering a state of immediate prevention
According to the assessment of the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau, the Typhoon Signal No.8 is issued at 21:30 on 02 November 2022 under the impact of the Tropical Cyclone “Nalgae”. In accordance with the dispatch of the Chief Executive, pursuant to Article 8, Item 1 of Article 9, and Sub-item 7 of Item 1 of Article 11 of Law No. 11/2020 (Civil Protection Legal Regime), in order to safeguard the life and property of citizens, the Macao Special Administrative Region declares a state of immediate prevention as of 21:30 on 02 November 2022.

Present citywide NAT has ended at 11:00 this morning, with 720,000+ samples collected; All test results are negative
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that the present citywide nucleic acid testing scheme has ended at 11:00 this morning with some 725,000 samples collected. All the samples have been analysed and returned as negative. Apart from this, a total of 448,912 rapid antigen test results have been uploaded from 00:00 to 15:00 today (2 November).
