Tending to enquiries referred by 24-hour Tourism Hotline

During the time when the typhoon signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) will tend to enquiries and assistance requests referred by the 24-hour Tourism Hotline (2833 3000) and send mobile text messages to Macao residents in the Mainland and visitors in Macao for notification about the typhoon signal No. 8 or above in effect. The latest weather news will be posted on MGTO’s website and platforms on social media.


Health Bureau announces health service arrangements of Conde de São Januário General Hospital and Health Centres/Stations during the hoist of typhoon signal No. 8 or higher

The Health Bureau announces that when typhoon signal No. 8 (or higher) is issued, for the safety of the public, CHCSJ will only open the entrance at the previous Emergency Room for access to the CHCSJ Emergency Building, while other entrances will be closed.


Declaration of entering a state of immediate prevention

According to the assessment of the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau, the Typhoon Signal No.8 is issued at 07:00 on 10 August 2022 under the impact of the strong Tropical Cyclone “Mulan”. In accordance with the dispatch of the Chief Executive, pursuant to Article 8, Item 1 of Article 9, and Sub-item 7 of Item 1 of Article 11 of Law No. 11/2020 (Civil Protection Legal Regime), in order to safeguard the life and property of citizens, the Macao Special Administrative Region declares a state of immediate prevention as of 07:00 on 10 August 2022.
