The 7th round of Citywide NAT Programme will end today (July 11) at 18:00 and those 160,000 unsampled citizens are urged take the test asap
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that, the 7th round of Citywide NAT Programme will end today (July 11) at 18:00. As of 12:00 noon today, there are still 160,000 citizens who have not been sampled. So far, all stations have a smooth flow of people, and all general stations with a waiting time of less than 15 minutes do not need an appointment. The public should go to take the test as soon as possible. In addition, employers are urged to handle with discretion the time employees go to take the test.

In coordinationwith pandemic prevention measures and to ensure that the personnel working to maintain the basic operation of the communitycan take publicbuses to get to and back from work, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) has distributed special permission cards to personnel of establishments regulated by and licensed with IAM starting from 8:00 p.m. tonight in a number of IAM public services centres. The relevant distribution work will be carried out for 24 hours continuously overnight. The trades have complied with the on-site arrangements, kept social distance of one metre and completed the formality in order.

In response to the pandemic prevention measures of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and to ensure the basic operation of the communityand food supply needs of the public from 11 to 17 July, the license holders or the company representatives of food and beverage establishments, takeaway food establishments, businesses in the wholesale markets, retail establishments of vegetables and aquatic products, import and retail establishments of frozen meat, markets and hawkers, etc. regulated by and licensed with the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) can proceed to the designated locations listed below from 8:00 p.m. tonight (10 July) to obtain the designated number of “specialpermission cards” if their employeesneed to take public buses to get to and back from work during the mentioned period.

According to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, new positive cases within 24 hours yesterday (10 July) include: 42 cases in the Red Code zones and medical observation hotels, which were detected under the management and control; 6 cases of close contacts, 7 cases in the Citywide NAT and Key Groups NAT, and 4 cases among other population groups, which were found within the community.

Outreach Nucleic Acid Test Service Team continues to conducts service for the persons with reduced mobility
In conjunction with the mass nucleic acid testing, the "MSAR Government Outreach Nucleic Acid Test Service Team", consisting of the Health Bureau and the Social Welfare Bureau; in collaboration with the Macau Red Cross, has been providing outreach nucleic acid testing services to people confined at home due to their mobility difficulties, namely people with serious illnesses, permanently bedridden people, people with reduced mobility, and others with special needs, since June 20. By July 10th, nucleic acid tests were carried out to a total of 1,801 persons with special needs in their homes. The provision of the above services will continue to be provided in coordination with the MSAR Government.
