MGTO suspends non-essential services from 0:00, 11 July to 0:00, 18 July

In accord with the Executive Order No. 115/2022 and the SAR Government’s measures to contain the pandemic, Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO)suspends its non-essential servicesfrom 0:00, 11 July to 0:00, 18July 2022,withthearrangements as follows:


The Education and Youth Development Bureau will suspend public services from 11 to 15 July 2022

To tie in with the epidemic prevention work of the SAR government and reduce the risk of the transmission of COVID-19 virus, the headquarters of the Education and Youth Development Bureau will suspend public services from 11 to 15 July 2022. The Labour Affairs Bureau calls on the domestic helper’s employer and the domestic helper to cooperate in the epidemic prevention Violations of dispatch shall be liable to criminal liabilities

To cooperate with the Executive Order No. 115/2022, all industries and commercial companies and venues in Macao will be required to suspend operation from after the stroke of midnight on 11 July 2022 until the stroke of midnight on 18 July 2022 inclusive and all individuals are instructed to stay at home.


IAM to adopt crowd control measures in public markets depending on situation and calls on public to shop in markets during off-peak hours

To comply with the pandemic prevention work of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will adopt crowd control measures such as queuing and on-site distribution of number tags according to the actual people flow in the different public markets, so as to lower the risk of the spread of the virus. Meanwhile, IAM calls on the public to shop in the markets during off-peak hours, leave the markets as soon as possible after shopping and comply with the pandemic prevention guidelines to reduce crowd gatherings.


Subsistence Team suspends service of supplies delivery today for Edf. Yue Xiu Gardens and buildings newly added as Red Code Zones

As the Subsistence Team needs to carry out screening and supplies delivery today (10 July) for the households of four buildings newly added as Red Code Zones last night, namely Edf. Kuong Wa (Bloco 8), Chun Pek (Bloco 2), Edf. Yau Kai, Edf. Vai Long (Bloco 2), and as the Health Bureau arranges nucleic acid sampling for the residents of Edf. Yue Xiu Gardens, the service of delivering supplies from relatives and friends for the households of the above-mentioned buildings originally scheduled for 3 pm to 5 pm is suspended. Relevant households are advised to understand the measure and ask their relatives and friends not to send supplies to the site today.


Heat Shelter on the Ground Floor of Ilha Verde Centre for Victims of Disaster to Be Closed at 6pm Today

In view of the yellow hot weather alert issued by the Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG), the Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) Heat Shelter has been opened today (July 10). In line with the epidemic prevention arrangement in Macao, the Shelter has been temporarily relocated to the ground floor of Ilha Verde Centre for Victims of Disaster, with the entrance located on Rua do Asilo, Bairro da Ilha Verde, will be closed at 6 pm today. Also, according to the Executive Order No. 115/2022, all individuals must stay at home, except for those who work in entities exempted from closure, purchase necessities or must go out under other emergency situations. Members of the public are required to undergo a COVID-19 rapid antigen test and present a negative result before entering the Heat Centre.


Arrangement of external services of the CCAC between 11th and 15th July

Due to the current situation of the novel coronavirus pandemic, the Declaration of Assets and Interests Division and the two Branch Offices of the CCAC will temporarily be closed between 11th and 15th July. Should residents wish to file reports or administrative complaints, they may use the online complaint service of the CCAC or call the Report Hotline at 2836 1212.


6th round of Citywide NAT has ended; A cumulative total of 23 tubes of mixed samples tested positive; Concerned NAT stations and sampling time announced

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that the 6th round of Citywide NAT Programme has ended at 18:00 yesterday (9 July); a cumulative total of 23 tubes of mixed samples have been tested positive.


6th round of Citywide NAT has ended with 658,906 samples collected; cumulatively 23 tubes of mixed samples tested positive, the rest are negative; 7th round of Citywide NAT already started at 09:00 today (10 July)

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces the conclusion of the 6th round of Citywide NAT programme, which was held from 09:00 on 8 July to 18:00 on 9 July. During the period, 658,906 samples were collected; a total of 23 tubes of mixed samples have been tested positive, while the rest are negative.
