The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that, in the present mass testing drive which began at 09:00am yesterday (23 June), a total of 20 tubes of 10-in-1 mixed samples have been tested positive as of 08:00am today (24 June). The 20 tubes of samples concerned were collected at the following NAT stations and times:

Consumer price index (CPI) for May 2022
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the Composite CPI for May 2022 (103.64) increased by 1.10% year-on-year. The increment was attributed to higher wages of domestic helpers, dearer charges for eating out, as well as rising prices of gasoline, liquefied petroleum gas and fruits; however, the rise was partially offset by falling rentals for dwellings, lower charges for telecommunication services and reduced prices of pork. Among the various sections of goods and services, the price indices of Household Furnishings & Services and Transport grew by 11.06% and 7.17% year-on-year respectively, whereas the index of Communication fell by 10.23%. The CPI-A (103.39) and CPI-B (103.97) saw respective growth of 0.78% and 1.52% year-on-year.

Quarantine station of Community Treatment Centre opens with smooth operation in Hall C of Macau East Asian Games Dome
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that, in order to respond to the quarantine demand, the quarantine station of the Community Treatment Centre located in Hall C of the Macau East Asian Games Dome has entered into operation at 6:00 am today (24 June), and is operating smoothly; at the same time, the service in Pac On Temporary Quarantine Station has been suspended.

New criteria for setting up red- and yellow-coded zones
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre announces that in response to the changes of the epidemic situation, the criteria for setting up a red-coded zone has been altered from buildings with one COVID-19 positive case to be subject to control measures, to buildings with two COVID-19 positive cases to be subject to control measures.

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre indicates that the booking system for citywide nucleic acid testing has experienced intermittent malfunctions and has resumed to normal after emergency repair.

Employment survey for March-May 2022
Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that both the general unemployment rate (3.4%) and the unemployment rate of local residents (4.4%) for March-May 2022 decreased by 0.1 percentage point from the previous period (February-April 2022). Meanwhile, the underemployment rate increased by 0.4 percentage points to 3.4%.

Service of supplies delivery session suspended for Edf. Fei Choi Kong Cheong today
Edf. Fei Choi Kong Cheong was added to the list of lockdown zones in the early hours today (24 June). As there are as many as hundreds of households in the building, the supplies delivery session of Edf. Fei Choi Kong Cheong from 3 pm to 5 pm is cancelled today to ensure the smooth progress of disinfection, nucleic acid testing and other work. Residents are advised to inform their relatives and friends not to deliver supplies to the site today. The delivery service will be available from 3 pm to 5 pm tomorrow.
