As the public feels concerned about the supply of the COVID-19 rapid antigen test reagents in Macao, Pharmaceutical Administration Bureau will announce the stock of reagents in local pharmacies on its website (www.isaf.gov.mo) and update the data every two hours.


Mobile NAT bus first put into use, with 534 samples collected as of 1:00pm

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that in order to provide convenience for citizens to undergo sampling and minimize cross-district movements, a mobile NAT sampling vehicle, equipped with 4 sampling desks, has been put into use from 9:00am this morning (27 June) under the present Citywide Nucleic Acid Testing Programme. During the first stage, it provides sampling service at various residential areas in Coloane. Residents in Coloane can refer to the service schedule below and have samples collected at the nearest location without making prior appointment.


Yellow code holders may go to work after communicating with their employer or department head

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that persons with a yellow health code are required to undergo nucleic acid testing as scheduled, and comply with measures including departure restrictions, close health monitoring and self-health management.

In response to this round of Citywide NAT drive, from 9:00 am today (27 June) to 6:00 pm on 28 June, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre reminds that, people holding a yellow health code are required to participate in the mass testing drive, and can be sampled at the NAT stations.


IAM requires hawkers to take rapid antigen tests every day

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) requires hawkers in all markets and hawker areas to complete rapid antigen tests every day before opening, with inspection staff continuing to step up inspections. At the same time, publicity messages on pandemic prevention are continuously broadcast in various markets and hawker areas, calling on the public to cooperate with pandemic prevention work and reduce crowd gatherings. Security guards stationed at the entrances of the markets also provide disinfectant alcohol to residents entering the markets to further increase protection.


Coordinated Portfolio Investment Survey – 31 December 2021

According to the statistics released today by the Monetary Authority of Macao, on 31 December 2021, investment of Macao residents (including individuals, the government and other legal entities but excluding Macao’s foreign exchange reserves) in securities issued by unrelated non-residents reached MOP1,098.1 billion at current market value, representing a rise of 1.9% from end-June 2021 or 7.2% from end-2020. Among the various instruments of portfolio investment, equity securities (including mutual funds and investment trust units), long-term debt securities and short-term debt securities were valued at MOP389.2 billion, MOP647.4 billion and MOP61.5 billion respectively. As compared with end-2020, equity securities, long-term debt securities and short-term debt securities increased by 12.4%, 4.3% and 6.6% respectively.

Health code of positive cases’ household members cannot turn green

In response to a rumour circulating on the Internet that the husband and the son of a confirmed case had been assisted by Health Bureau staff to have their health code changed from red to green for an hour so that they could leave the quarantine station of the Community Treatment Centre (Macao East Asian Games Dome) by taxi, the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre clarifies that the health code of co-living family members of a positive case cannot be converted to green.
