Participants of the wedding in Grand Lisboa Palace once again urged to take the initiative to report
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre indicates that 4 positive cases have been detected in relation to the wedding in Grand Lisboa Palace on June 18 so far. According to investigation, the concerned wedding involves about 350 participants and 100 staff members. As of 1:00 pm today (23 June), 150 people have taken the initiative to report through the online system. Combined with the investigation data of the Public Security Police Force, 292 people have been identified at present.

Certain recreational facilities and restaurant dining-in suspended from 5pm

From 5pm today, a number of leisure facilities will be closed and dine-in service at restaurants and other food and beverage establishments will be banned, in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 spreading in the community.

IAM reinforces cleaning and disinfection of the buildings of the residences of confirmed cases
In view of the newest development of the novel coronavirus pandemic and in compliance with the prevention and control work, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) immediately coordinated with the Macao Residue System Company, Ltd. and cleaning contractors to send more staff to carry out large-scale cleaning and disinfection work in areas such as the nearby streets and the common areas in the buildings of the residences of the confirmed cases, so as to reduce the conditions of the spread of the pandemic as much as possible. The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre states that all Macao residents and individuals staying in Macao are required to take a swab under the Citywide Nucleic Acid Testing Programme from 09:00 today (23 June) to 00:00 tomorrow (24 June). Upon registration at the testing stations, each resident will be given two more COVID-19 rapid antigen test kit.
