Stamp issue “Feast of Saint John” available for sale from 15th August
Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau originally scheduled the issuance of the new stamp theme “Feast of Saint John” on 24th June 2022. Due to the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia, the sale of the philatelic products and hand-back service (cancellation date will be the issue date: 24th June 2022) will be postponed to 15th August 2022, while the issue date will remain unchanged. Mailing service of the above issue will not be available.

Key Areas NAT for the vicinity of Edf. Polytec Garden and the vicinity of Border Gate Checkpoint to be launched on 9 August
The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre received a report from Zhuhai yesterday (7 August) that a case tested positive for COVID-19 by nucleic acid test (NAT) has recent travel records between Macao and Zhuhai. In order to further assess the risk of COVID-19 transmission in the local community, a Key Area NAT drive will be launched for individuals who live or work in the vicinity of the residing place of the positive case or at the key areas frequently visited by the case.
