IMF Publishes the Article IV Consultation Staff Report Today Affirms Macao SAR’s Economic Stabilisation Policies
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded the 2022 Article IV Consultation with Macao Special Administrative Region (Macao SAR) and published its Staff Report today (13 April). The Mission affirms Macao SAR Government’s effective deployment of fiscal resources to soften the pandemic’s adverse impact on the economy. Meanwhile, it projects Macao’s economy to grow by 15.5% this year and 23.3% next year.

Exhibition of Contemporary Ink Art in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao opens at Macao Museum of Art this week
Jointly organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province and coordinated by the Macao Museum of Art (MAM), under the auspices of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, and the Guangdong Museum of Art, the exhibition “Wild Imagination: Contemporary Ink Art in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao from 2000 to 2022” will be inaugurated on 14 April, at 6:30pm, on the 3rd floor of MAM. The exhibition, integrated in the 32nd Macao Arts Festival, is curated by contemporary art critic Pi Daojian, featuring nearly 80 pieces/sets of contemporary ink works by over 50 artists from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. All are welcome to visit.

UM develops novel metal phenolic nanoparticles to enhance therapeutic efficacy of cancer treatments
A research team led by Dai Yunlu, assistant professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), University of Macau (UM), has successfully developed a series of novel metal phenolic nanoparticles to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of various cancer treatments. The research findings have been published in the internationally-renowned journals Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Advanced Functional Materials, and Nano Today.

DSI launched application service for Certificate of Personal Data on “Common Access to Public Services of the Macao SAR”

The Identification Services Bureau (DSI) launches the application service for the Certificate of Personal Data on the “Common Access to Public Services of the Macao SAR” starting from 11th April 2022 in line with the development of the electronic administration of the Macao SAR Government. Besides, DSI can issue electronic certificates, which allows citizens to go through the entire application process on the Internet without leaving home.

The Macao Grand Prix Museum (the “Museum”) debuts the new feature of 360-degree panoramic view for residents and visitors to enjoy an online virtual tour to the Museum, which shall promote their actual visits.
