The Citywide nucleic acid testing is taking place. As of 12:00 on 19 June, the number of people waiting at the nucleic acid testing station as follows:


Regular viral nucleic acid testing services available in 7 NAT stations

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre stated that Kuok Kim (Macao) Medical Centre, Kuok Kim (Macao Forum), Kiang Wu Hospital, Nam Yue - FAOM (Macao Federation of Trade Unions Workers Stadium), and Nam Yue Qingmao Port Nucleic Acid Testing Station will provide regular viral nucleic acid testing services from 6:00 am today (19 June); while Nam Yue Hengqin Port and the University Hospital will open to provide nucleic acid testing services at 8:00 am.


Temporary Closure of the UM Campus

The Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) has declared a state of immediate prevention from 1 am on 19 June 2022. To support the Macao SAR government's efforts to prevent and control the epidemic, the University of Macau has closed its campus to the public and suspended all educational activities from the same day (19 June 2022) until further notice.


Temporary housing show flats to close starting today

To coordinate with the Macau SAR Government’s prevention and control work of COVID-19 epidemic, the exhibition about Areia Preta’s Lot P temporary housing project located on the 3rd floor of Mong Ha Social Housing – Edifício Mong Tak in Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira, will be temporarily closed starting today (19 June) until further notice. Service users’ understanding is appreciated.


Temporary Closure of the Portuguese-speaking Countries Food Exhibition Centre

Addressing the latest situation of COVID-19 and to work in line with the SAR Government’s disease control measures, the Portuguese-speaking Countries Food Exhibition Centre under the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute is temporarily closed starting from 19 June 2022 until further notice. Thank you for your attention!


Launch of citywide nucleic acid test from 12:00 pm today (19 June) to 12:00 pm on 21 June

The Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre (hereinafter referred to as the “Centre”) announces that a citywide nucleic acid test will be conducted from 12:00 pm today (19 June) to 12:00 pm on 21 June. All local residents and individuals staying in Macao, including those who have taken a swab within the 24 hours preceding 12:00 pm today, are required to get tested. Individuals who have recently received a COVID-19 vaccine must wait at least 24 hours from the time of leaving the vaccination venue before they can take the test.


Further Adjustment of Announcement of Epidemic Prevention and Control Measures in Zhuhai-Macao Ports

Suspension of the operation of social facilities that provide daytime services and of the visits in nursing homes and rehabilitation areas

The Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) hereby announces that, due to the development of the epidemic in Macao and in order to ensure the safety and health of service users, especially children, the elderly, the disabled and the workers, the operation of subsidized social facilities, namely day care centers, special need daycare centers and community centers, as well as the reception of visitors in nursing homes and rehabilitation areas will be suspended from today. However, nursing homes and urgent care services will remain in operation. Further information regarding the operation of the various social facilities will be announced later, as the epidemic evolves. For more information, citizens can contact their respective offices. The IAS hopes that the population understands the respective measures. The IAS appeals for the cooperation of non-subsidized facilities in order to comply with the epidemic prevention measure.
