Annual Activities of Communications Museum

In order to continue promoting the popularity of telecommunications science and technology, Communications Museum is going to launch two annual activities, Science and Arts Activity for Primary Students 2021 and Electronic Device Construction Competition 2022, to let students explore interesting scientific phenomena and principles in order to foster their spirit of “Dare to experiment. Dare to discover.” through competitions. The Science and Arts Activity for Primary Students aims to encourage students to bring into their artistic and scientific creativity, while the Electronic Device Construction Competition for high school students aims to encourage students to participate in teams to design and make their own electronic device to complete a set of designated tasks which in the way, showing their knowledge of science through practical application.

Stamp Issue “Wushu – Chinese Martial Arts and Health”

Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will issue the stamp theme Wushu – Chinese Martial Arts and Health” on 13th September, 2021. Secretary details Macao’s effort for Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone in Hengqin

MPI Seniors Academy and Zhuhai University of the Retirees Co-organize Joint Exhibition of Art Works

In order to encourage the elderly to explore their potential, promote the spirit of “a Sense of Worthiness among the Elderly”, as well as to enhance interaction with the universities for the elderly in the Greater Bay Area, ACS specially invited those with a long history and excellent teaching staff to cooperate under the epidemic in a new form - a series of online joint exhibitions of art works.


Cultural Affairs Bureau performs regular website maintenance on 14 September

In order to ensure the proper operation of its information technology system, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will perform regular maintenance on its web servers on 14 September (Tuesday) from 10am to 1pm. Therefore, the operation of several websites will be temporarily suspended, including the Cultural Affairs Bureau website and its sub-websites, the websites of the Cultural Heritage of Macao, the Macao World Heritage, the Macao Conservatory, the Archives of Macao, the Macao Museum of Art, the Macao Museum, the Macao Cultural Centre, the “Art Macao”, the “Tap Siac Craft Market” and the Macao Cultural and Creative Industries, among others. In addition, the Booking System for the use of Artistic and Cultural Spaces, IC’s Activities Registration System, the System for Applying for Financial Support for Local Associations, the Inquiry System of Progress of Application for Filming, the Cultural Affairs Bureau Online Book Shop, the mobile applications “Macao eBooks” and “WH Macau” will also be unavailable during the above-mentioned period. The normal operation of the service will resume once the maintenance work is completed.
