To comply with the epidemic prevention measures of Zhuha-Macao borders, the Education and Youth Development Bureau (the “DSEDJ”) announces that, starting from January 17, class arrangements for cross-border teachers and students of tertiary education institutions and non-tertiary education schools who are now staying in the Mainland are as follows:

UM holds first online Open Day

To enable students, parents, and friends from Macao and around the world to gain a better understanding of the University of Macau (UM), the university held its first online Open Day today (16 January). Many people participated in the online activities, including virtual campus tours, to learn more about the latest admission information, educational features, and research results of the university.


CE and Zhuhai officials exchange views on latest epidemic control work

The Chief Executive, Mr Ho Iat Seng, held a meeting on Saturday (15 January) via videoconference with officials in Zhuhai in order to exchange views on epidemic control measures implemented in the two places, and the response to the new COVID-19 cases detected in places near to Macao.

Muwu BBQ, Hua Yun Health Care Sailing Team and Sanya UC.18 Sailing Team will go into the final day tomorrow as the overall leaders in the Macao Cup International Regatta (Beneteau First 40.7 unified design group), the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cup Regatta (IRC group) and the International Catamaran Invitational (Hobie 16 unified design group), respectively.

Close monitoring of epidemic situation in Zhuhai to ensure appropriate arrangements for cross-boundary students

The Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Ms Ao Ieong U, today said the results of the citywide nucleic-acid testing currently being done in Zhuhai would be crucial to the decision-making of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Government during the next two days regarding arrangements next week for cross-boundary students.
