Consumer Price Index (CPI) for November 2024

Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that the Composite CPI for November 2024 rose by 0.3% year-on-year but edged down by 0.01% month-on-month. For the 12 months ended November this year, the average Composite CPI grew by 0.84% from the previous period (December 2022 - November 2023).


Visitor arrivals for November 2024

Information from the Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) indicated that visitor arrivals increased by 9.6% year-on-year to 2,832,041 in November 2024, recovering to 97.3% of the level in the same month in 2019. Same-day visitors (1,548,454) and overnight visitors (1,283,587) grew by 14.1% and 4.6% year-on-year respectively. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of visitors held stable year-on-year at 1.2 days, with that of overnight visitors rising by 0.1 day to 2.3 days.


CTT Launches Lunar Year of the Snake Greeting Card

As Chinese New Year is approaching, Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will launch a Lunar Year of the Snake greeting card, which will be available for sale at the Philatelic Shop of the General Post Office on 20th December 2024, and the General Post Office and all post offices on 26th December 2024. With the auspicious design of the snake welcoming spring, the greeting card is an excellent way of delivering warm wishes and festive vibes to relatives and friends.


Thematic pack “25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region”

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the reunification of Macao with the Motherland, Macao Post and Telecommunications will issue a thematic pack under the theme "25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region" on 20th December 2024. The pack comprises 7 series of stamps and souvenir sheets related to the reunification of Macao with the Motherland, including the establishment of the Macao SAR, and the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th anniversaries.
