CE to visit Beijing to take part in commemorations of 80th anniversary of victory against Japanese aggression, fascism

The Chief Executive, Mr Sam Hou Fai, will visit Beijing from 2 to 6 September. During the period of 2 to 4 September, he will lead a Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) delegation of over 140 people, to attend commemorative activities marking the 80th anniversary of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.


The AMCM welcomes the first issuance of the municipal government bonds by Shenzhen Government in Macao

With the support of the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China and the People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, the Shenzhen Government will issue its first offshore RMB-denominated municipal government bonds in Macao during early September, with an expected issuance size of RMB 1 billion of green bonds dedicated to combating climate change. All bonds will be offered exclusively to professional investors.

Tickets for the Macao Chinese Orchestra 2025–26 Concert Season are on sale from today presenting world premiere of commissioned works in celebration of the “Culture City of East Asia” and showcasing the integration of diverse cultures

Organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, coordinated by the Macao Orchestra Company, Limited, and supported by Bank of China Macau Branch, the Macao Chinese Orchestra 2025–26 Concert Season will be inaugurated on 30 August. The new Concert Season will feature a range of distinctive musical creations and outstanding works. Under the theme of the “Culture City of East Asia”, the new Concert Season will premiere works co-composed by internationally renowned composers from China, Japan and South Korea, showing the unique charm of traditional East Asian music to music aficionados. Tickets for the new Concert Season are now available through the Macau Ticketing Network, with various discounts available.


UM welcomes 76 outstanding international scholars for new academic year
