IPIM Suspends Public Services

Addressing the epidemic caused by the new coronavirus in the city, the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) is attentively coordinating relevant disease control works. Starting from 5 February, all of IPIM’s public services and facilities will be suspended until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.


The DSEJ Sets up the “Walking Together during the Epidemic, Staying Calm and Fearless” Student Counselling Service Webpage

To care about students’ mental health during the epidemic, the DSEJ sets up the “walking together during the epidemic, staying calm and fearless” student counselling service webpage. The webpage aims to provide information about counselling service for all students and parents in Macao, including tips on counselling, support hotlines of the 9 student counselling service institutions and other related information. The FSS Suspends All Services to the Public

In response to the outbreak of novel coronavirus, the Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) will suspend all services to the public from 5th February until further notice in order to avoid crowd gathering and reduce the risk of disease spread. The FSS reiterates that it will extend the payment period and exempt related interest or fines.


Special Arrangement of Macao Postal Savings services starting from 5th February 2020

Due to the development of the novel coronavirus, CTT Macao would like to inform thatMacao Postal Savings will change the opening hour to 12:00-16:00 starting from 5th February 2020.


Special arrangement for services of CTT on 5th February

Due to the development of the novel coronavirus, CTT Macao would like to inform the underneath post offices on 5th February will only accept the posting of parcels and EMS items, while all other services will be suspended.


The SWB will provide emergency services only between Wednesday and Friday of this week.

In response to the further development of the epidemic, the essential services of the SWB (inclunding those provided at the headquarters, social service centers and in the other units) will be suspended between the 5th and the 7th of February 2020, without affecting the operation of the urgent services, namely methadone treatment and maintenance service (Areia Preta Drug Treatment Centre and Carmo (Taipa) Drug Treatment Centre), and financial assistance service (urgent cases only). CCAC to suspend basic services starting from tomorrow but Report Hotline remains available

Due to the epidemic, the Macao SAR Government has announced that only emergency services remain available and basic services will be suspended. Therefore, all external services of the CCAC will be suspended starting from tomorrow (5th February) until further notice. For reports and complaints over corruption and public services, please call the CCAC’s Report Hotline at 2836 1212.


Suspension of public services of the Medical Dispute Mediation Centre

Facing the development of an epidemic of infection with a new type of coronavirus, the Medical Dispute Mediation Centre will suspend the public services, starting tomorrow (5th of February), until further notice.

Macao has confirmed two new cases of novel coronavirus infection, taking to 10 the tally of such cases recorded in the city.


Delay Notice of postal items to foreign destinations

Due to the fact that Hong Kong announced the closure of the boundary control point at the Hong Kong‑Macau Ferry Terminal at midnight of 4th February 2020 and the recent delay and cancellation of air flights, CTT would like to inform that there are delays in the delivery of postal items to foreign destinations and delays will not be compensated during this period until further notice.
