UM organises two international summer camps, offering students from around the world cross-cultural experiences
The University of Macau (UM) is hosting the ‘Summer Camp for Outstanding Students of UM Partner Universities’ and the ‘East Lighthouse Talent Development Scheme – Learning Experience Summer Program for International Students’. The two camps have attracted over 100 outstanding students from nearly 60 universities across 13 countries and regions, offering them a variety of unique academic and cultural activities.

“Mainland-Macao Business Associations Joint Conference” Expands and Enriches the Collaboration Mechanism Macao’s and Hengqin’s Economic and Trade Departments Meet with Fortune 500 Companies and Other Tech Enterprises to Promote Investment
The “2025 Mainland-Macao Business Associations Joint Conference” was on July 17 for the first time in Beijing during the “3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE)”. A total of 56 representatives from trade promotion organiations and chambers of commerce attended the conference, focusing on two major economic and trade topics: “Upgrading the China-PSCs Platform and Digital Trade: Building a New Hub for Cross-Border Service Chains” and “Cultural Tourism and Exhibition Economy and Regional Synergy: Creating a New Peak for World-Class Leisure Consumption”. A supplementary agreement to the joint meeting mechanism was signed, and with the addition of the Association of Chinese Enterprise in Macao, the coverage of the mechanism was further expanded, enriching its function and enhancing its resilience, thereby better facilitating the co-operation between mainland and Macao enterprises in “going global and bringing in investments”.

IAM to carry out renovation and repair works of viewing trail in venue for flower exhibition in Avenida da Praia, Taipa from next Monday
The venue for flower exhibition in Avenida da Praia, Taipa holds multiple flower exhibitions every year, attracting a large number of members of the public and visitors to visit the venue. The wooden walkway in the venue has shown various degrees of ageing and damage due to long-term use. To safeguard public safety, the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) will carry out renovation and repair works in phases starting from 21 July. During the period, the venue will be partially enclosed. Members of the public are advised to pay attention to the arrangements.
