Call for exhibitors for the Macao Pavilion at Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART)
In order to foster the development of Macao’s film and TV industry and expand the market of the industry, the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC, from the Portuguese acronym) will set up the “Macao Pavilion” at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) in 2025. IC is now calling for the participation of local film and TV production entities at the FILMART. Interested parties are welcome to apply from 26 December 2024 to 16 January 2025, and application is free of charge.

FSS Calls on Old-Age and Disability Pension Beneficiaries to Provide Proof of Life Electronically
The Social Security Fund (abbreviated to FSS in Macao) said that under the law, beneficiaries of the Social Security System’s old-age and disability pension must provide proof of life every year. In the year 2025, nearly 170,000 people are involved. Starting at 9 a.m. on 1 January, beneficiaries can use the "Macao One Account" mobile app to provide proof of life through facial recognition. There is no need to visit the FSS or related service points. It is applicable even outside Macao, which is convenient and fast.

Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) will hold its Open Day 2025 on Saturday, January 4. The event will feature presentations on degree programmes, thematic exhibitions, workshops, experiential activities, sharing sessions, admissions consultations, and campus tours. These activities aim to give the wider community an in-depth understanding of MPU’s academic programmes, teaching and research achievements, and to provide visitors with a first-hand experience of university life and the vibrant cultural diversity of its campus.
